βοΈ Your 1-hour engine β repeat every day
- 5 min β Brain-dump. Write everything you remember about yesterday's topic. No notes.
- 25 min β Questions FIRST. Do questions on today's topic, then read rationales ONLY for what you missed.
- 5 min β Break. Stand up, water, move. Not your phone.
- 25 min β Fix the gaps. Review only what you missed (a guide section or ONE short clip at 1.5Γ). Then say it out loud like you're teaching it.
Got a 2nd hour? Add 10 min redoing 5 old missed questions.
π Daily non-negotiable β 15 min dosage + pharm
Do this every day, even on a 30-minute day. Your ATI reports flagged Pharmacology & Parenteral Therapies at 60% on both attempts β your only below-average area. It's also your most fixable, because dosage math is pure reps.
Rotate: dosage calc (units, mL/hr, teaspoonβmL, weight-based) Β· med administration & reconciliation Β· IV fluids & fluid-overload management Β· high-alert drug classes. The π box is on every day below.
π― Your weak spots right now β from your quiz results
Your Mega Quiz reports keep landing here. Hit these first β fastest points before Aug 5:
- Upper GI (M11) β ~71%. The 3 PUD complications: hemorrhage (bleeding Β· hematemesis/melena) Β· perforation (sudden pain + rigid, board-like abdomen β peritonitis) Β· pyloric obstruction (vomiting, bloating, fullness). Plus H. pylori testing + triple therapy, and telling GERD vs gastritis vs gastric ulcer (pain WITH food) vs duodenal ulcer (pain RELIEVED by food).
- Lower GI (M12) β ~67%. Crohn's vs UC (skip lesions/transmural vs continuous/mucosal; fistula vs toxic megacolon), bowel obstruction vs ileus (mechanical vs paralytic; SBO vs LBO), and appendicitis vs diverticulitis (RLQ vs LLQ).
β‘ Drill it: Mega Quiz β Exam 5 + 𧬠Patho β 10 questions. Read rationales only for misses. Re-run in 2 days and watch those bars turn green. Full details live in your Module 11 & 12 guides and the Lower GI Workbook.
π« Anti-wheel-spinning rules
- Questions before notes. Always. Recall beats re-reading.
- Never rewatch a whole video. Only the clip for the one thing you missed.
- Stuck >5 min? Flag it, move on. Come back tomorrow β don't grind.
- Teach it out loud. Can't explain it simply = that's your gap. Found it.
- Track your misses and re-test them 2 days later. That gap is the whole game.
- Done > perfect. Check the box, move on. Consistency wins this.
π©Ί ATI Content Mastery track (the teal line on each day)
ATI rewards a specific loop β don't just read the book (that's the wheel-spinning version):
- Practice A (Jul 27) β diagnostic. Take it timed, review every rationale, and note your weakest systems.
- Content days (Jul 28 β Aug 1) β one body system per day, questions first, heavier on your weak areas.
- Practice B + Focused Review (Aug 2β3) β retest, then use ATI's Focused Review to hit only the gaps.
- Light day (Aug 4) β redo flagged questions, rest.
Assumes your ATI covers the same systems as your NUR198 modules. If your ATI portal lists extra areas (neuro, endocrine, etc.), add them on a content day. After Practice A, send me your weak areas and I'll rebalance Jul 28βAug 1.
π Phase 1 Β· now β Aug 5 (Exam 5 + ATI)
GI first (that's Exam 5), Practice A on the 27th, then one system per day for ATI, then retest + Focused Review. Teal-bordered days are ATI Practice Assessments.
π Phase 2 Β· Aug 6 β Aug 11 (cumulative Final)
Sweep every module β lighter topics first, then the big systems, then a full mixed day. Purple-bordered days.
Open it from your Drive folder each morning, pick the day, start step β .
